How to Operate

STARTING THE ROBOT

To start the robot:
⦁ Keep pressing the power switch at the right side of the robot for more than 3 seconds.
⦁ Press CLEAN on main body or ON/OFF on remote control to start cleaning.
Note: If the robot is in sleeping mode, press CLEAN on the main body or ON/OFF on remote control to wake up the robot from sleeping mode, then press CLEAN again, the robot will start cleaning automatically. ⦁ Keep pressing the power switch at the right side of the robot for more than 3 seconds. ⦁ Press CLEAN on main body or ON/OFF on remote control to start cleaning. Note: If the robot is in sleeping mode, press CLEAN on the main body or ON/OFF on remote control to wake up the robot from sleeping mode, then press CLEAN again, the robot will start cleaning automatically.

STANDBY MODE
To change the robot from cleaning mode to standby mode:
Keep pressing the power switch at the right side of the robot for more than 3 seconds when the robot is power off.
⦁ In sleeping mode, press power switch on main body or ON/OFF on remote control to wake the robot.
⦁ In cleaning mode, press CLEAN on the main body or ON/OFF on remote control.

SLEEPING MODE
To change the robot from standby mode to sleeping mode:
Keep pressing CLEAN on main body for 3 seconds.
⦁ In sleeping mode, the robot can only be waken up to standby mode by pressing CLEAN button on main body or ON/OFF on remote control.
⦁ Robot will automatically enter sleeping mode if there is no command received for more than 10 seconds.

SWITCHING THE POWER OFF
⦁ In standby mode, keep pressing the power switch for more than 3 seconds.
⦁ In sleeping mode, the robot will automatically power off if there is no operation within 5 minutes.

BATTERY CHARGING

A. Direct Charging
Plug the power adapter into the robot and the other end to the power socket.

B. Charging station Auto-Charging
Press HOME on the robot or remote control to instruct the robot to automatically connect to the charging station.

Note:
⦁ Place charging station against the wall and remove obstacles about 1 meter at two sides and about 2 meters front of the station.
⦁ When robot is charging, LED panel will gradually show ‘1111’ from left to right.
⦁ Once charging is completed, LED panel will show ‘FULL’.
⦁ In standby status, please charge the robot when CLEAN button on robot starts flashing indicating low battery.
⦁ In working status, the robot will return to charging station automatically when battery power is low.

Instructions to extend battery’s usage life:
⦁ Before first use, charge the robot for 12 hrs.
⦁ Charge the robot as soon as the battery power is low.
⦁ If the robot is not going to be used for a long time; fully charge the battery, turn the power switch off, remove and store it in a cool & dry place.

SCHEDULING

A. Setting the Robot Clock
  1.  In standby or charging status, press PLAN to start the clock-setting. The LED panel will show the current system time.
  2.  Press CLEAN to enter the hour-setting mode, the left two numbers on LED panel will flash. Press HOME to increase or SPOT to decrease it.
  3.  Press CLEAN again to enter the minute-setting mode, the right two numbers on LED panel will flash. Press HOME to increase or SPOT to decrease it.
  4. Press CLEAN again to confirm the settings.
Setting the scheduling time
  1. In standby or charging status, press PLAN for two times to start scheduling, LED panel will show previous scheduled time or “00:00” if there is no schedule set before.
  2. Press CLEAN to enter hour-setting mode, the left two numbers on LED panel will flash. Press HOME to increase hour or SPOT to decrease.
  3. Press CLEAN again to enter the minute-setting mode, the right two numbers on LED panel will flash. Press HOME to increase or SPOT to decrease it.
  4. Press CLEAN again to confirm the settings.
C. Cancel Scheduling
  1. Set the scheduling interval to 00:00
  2. Turn off the power switch on the right side of robot, and turn it on again after 3 seconds.
Note: ⦁ The robot will start cleaning at the scheduling time of Robot Clock every day. ⦁ Before Scheduling, please set the robot time to be the same with real time. ⦁ The robot can only be scheduled when it’s in Standby or charging mode. ⦁ During charging by power adapter directly, robot will not accept scheduling set up.

VIRTUAL WALL

Virtual wall is used to prevent the robot from entering restricted area. Virtual wall emits an IR-signal strip of 3 meters creating a barrier for robot to cross. For best results, place virtual wall around the doorway or other areas to block. To use Virtual wall:
  1. Install the batteries (R/20 D type)
  2. Turn on the power switch
  3. Place the virtual wall to restrict some area. Note: ⦁ When using Virtual wall, the directing mark on Virtual wall should face the area to be blocked. ⦁ Turn the power off it’s not in use. ⦁ Remove the batteries from the virtual wall, in case it is kept unused for long.

How to Maintain

CLEANING SIDE BRUSHES
Clean the side brushes when it gets dirty and replace it if it’s damaged. Side brushes are removable by gentle pull.

CLEANING DUSTBIN & FILTERS
Empty and clean the dustbin regularly after every use.

Instructions for cleaning dustbin:

  1. Press PUSH on the main body to open the cover.
  2. Take out the dustbin.
  3. Take out the HEPA filter.
  4. Open dustbin cover, take out the primary filter.
  5. Empty the dustbin.
  6. Wash dustbin and filter, Clean the HEPA filter with brush.
  7. Install the primary filter and HEPA filter back into the dustbin.

Note:
⦁ Wash HEPA filters after using for 15-30 days.
⦁ Reinstall the HEPA and primary filter after they are fully dry.
⦁ HEPA and primary filter can be replaced if needed.
⦁ Do not dry the filters under baking sunshine.

CLEANING SENSORS AND WHEELS
Slightly wipe all the sensors and wheels of the main body with soft cleaning cloth or tool.
CLEANING THE CHARGING POLES
Clean the charging poles of the charging station with soft cleaning cloth or tool.
CLEANING SUCTION PASSAGE & DUST SENSORS
Clean the suction passage & dust sensors of the main body with soft cleaning cloth or tool.
CLEANING MOPPING CLOTH
Detach the mopping cloth from the mop holder attached on the bottom of the robot. When the mopping cloth is dirty or damaged, replace it with a clean or new one.

Note:
Please don’t let the sensors get wet by water, thinner etc.
